Haute Angel Blog

For anyone who was following the Haute Angel blog – a barefoot racehorse in the Southwest, I have removed the RSS feed.  I don’t know what’s going on, the last entry was from May, and no comments are allowed, so I can’t ask.

I am worried that something has maybe happened to the trainer, as she was not a young woman.  Hopefully it will be updated in the future and everything will have been fine the whole time.

The filly is now in with the herd

We have been slowly introducing the herd to the filly and yesterday we finally let her out with the whole herd.  Fortunately it went well, and, with a couple exceptions, everyone took it in stride.

She is now on her way to being a horse.  It’s been apparent since I picked her up that she has forgotten what it’s like to be part of herd – if she ever knew.  Sad.  But she is not afraid of them, just a little indifferent at the moment, though she stays close.  Two of the horses, Shadow and Whiskey seem more interested in her than some of the others, and they stay closer to her.  I’m confident that in a couple weeks she will be right in there socializing with all of them.

My computer has died . . .

I’ve ordered a new computer but will be offline until it arrives.   More coming soon.
